ENC2135: Research, Genre & Context 

My Wix portfolio is a collection of all my writing assignments and blog posts about genre.  When I first began this class, all I knew about genre is that it is apart of different types of categories.  As I was exploring my topic for the Genre Analysis and Research Essay, it was brought to my attention that genre can be expressed in many different ways.  These assignments have taught me that we see genre in our everyday lives.  Creating my own website is a genre and this would be a great tool for me to use in the future.  This website has taught me writing, design, and organizational skills.  I now have a better understanding of how to use genre and create a website.
